Make malt mix at home instead of buying them at store. Stir the powder into vegan milk or regular milk. Malt mix with warm milk is good for days you are fasting or during Ekadashi. If you are trying to kick the caffeine habit, this mix can replace coffee.
- 1 cup puffed rice cereal
- 2 tablespoons roasted rice powder
- 1 cardamom
- pinch of saffron
- 1/2 cup powdered jaggery
- Place all the ingredients in a coffee grinder and blend until smooth.
- To make the drink: add 1 tablespoon of the drink in warm vegan milk. Stir well.
