Sattvic hotpot soup bursting with flavors
You need:
  1. 1 cup organic black eyed peas
  2. 1 organic sweet potato, cubed
  3. 1 small ball of organic tamarind
  4. 1 tbsp chili powder with Italian seasoning (use 1 tsp for mild spice)
  5. 1 tsp Himalayan pink salt
  6. 1 tsp ground cumin
  7. 2 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 cup Bulgar wheat
  9. 2 tbsp organic ginger, chopped
  10. 2 cups organic spinach
  11. 4 cloves
  12. 4 cardamom pods, crushed
  13. 3 cups water

To make:
  1. Soak black-eyed peas for at least 6 hours.
  2. Assemble all ingredients in a hot pot in the same order as listed.
  3. Cook in ‘high’ setting for 20 minutes.
  4. Stir well and add 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil .
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro leaves.
  6. Serve warm
